Concept Schemes

Sky City Concept, Hong Kong

A series of plans were developed for this inner city golf centre in Hong Kong, to demonstrate the feasibility and safety considerations of the project.

The company has used this 'model' to plan other easy-quick-to-play courses in other countries. Not everyone has 4-5 hours to play a full round of golf on a 6,000 metre course, and so demand for this kind of facility can, in the right circumstances, be very good indeed.

The company has developed very successful and popular short courses in the UK (The Manor Golf Club, Riverside Golf Centre), the Mediterranean (Korineum), and coming soon in India (Kovai Hills Golf Course).

Kau Sai Chau Island, Hong Kong

Hemstock Design carried out initial concept planning for a further 18-hole layout on the Kau Sai Chau island, off the coast of Hong Kong, with overnight or 'dormy' accommodation.

Hemstock Associates co-Architect Les Watts is now established as one of the leading designers of golf projects in China, with 18 golf courses now successfully operating in the country.

We have excellent contacts with top class contractors and specialists within the country to provide all that is required to design, build and operate a golf course.
